Reason to Smile: There are so many of us who decide to do something special on our birthdays. We plan, feel excited about gifts, parties, etc.  Some of us go driving countryside, some of us take an off to work, some just get busy giving thank you notes ! ;)

Some are also very focused in making future plans and charting out their goals of who and how they want to become in the next 5 years!

I have always realized one thing in life - It is not just about fancy clothing, going to the gym, earning enormous money, great shopping, etc that can buy you happiness. It is only when I can feel the pain of others, become compassionate, drive the positive energy among myself and others, that will keep me satisfied and happy ! For me, I admit, this has come very late as a feeling in my life.

I am not writing this so that I can spread this message among others to feel for me or become popular. I do not want to promote this by way of blogs. But I would surely like to contribute something if I can.

Having said that, I am surely going to enjoy the party tomorrow, have amazing food, put on a lot of weight and spend some good chunk of money treating good and old friends ;)

I, at the end of 33 years of my life, one day before my birthday, sitting at office -sipping a cup of coffee want to know - what is going to be my 'reason to smile' in the next 5 years ! :) Would you like to help me ?!?! ;)

Life has just begun ! :)

Honnavar :)

Reason to Smile: The lush green views, the rice and wheat plantations, the foggy mountains, the wet silver curvy roads and we 3 girls on a road trip. It all begins with this thought and check where we land up :) Honnavar - One small city in Karnataka, very close to Kumta, Gokarna, Murudeshwara Temple and many more such popular places. We headed straight to Madhu's native where her uncle lived. Her Mamaji, as we all affectionately called him, greeted us and was very strict about maintaining the schedule of our trip, for he was our official guide to take us to umpteen places around for sight seeing. Kugaon Fort + Palasdeo Temple :)

Reason to Smile: The movie made its roar in the Marathi film industry with all new faces as very sensitive and challenging characters as their debut. I have only heard about the movie and its feel shot at the backdrop of scenic adventure beautified by Kugav Fort near Solapur. I had seen them too in some of their promos on TV. While it looked exuberantly vibrant and beautiful, it was time to see whether it gives the same impact in real lights too ;) So without a doubt, there are number of nature lovers like me who had the same thought running on their minds. Ironically the place becomes just more popular only because its got highlighted in some movie. Or else Kugaon Fort was always there - just that it got visible to the public eye after 56 years of its existence !! Because all this while it was submerged under the crystal clear waters of River Bhima of Kugaon Village. It has significantly no traces of its charm on the web. So, it was surely not google this time to locate the place....
