Wedding Season :)

Reason to Smile: Its always a reason to smile when someone else in the entire family is getting married and we have to be a part of it :)

My mother feels most excited when such wedding invitation cards drops in at our place. Not because she gets to meet people for the greetings but so that she feels there will be 'one fine day' where she will be on the host side and the wedding bells will ring at our doorstep too !! ;)

God alone knows what have they stored in these mother's hearts for such BELLS for their kids ;) Am sure if not all, most of us go through these 'excitement' every now and then from their beloved MOMs ! :)

So as it looks like, I was dragged to one such family function - Oh, should I call a wedding reception ?!?! All I feel bored about these functions is that one has to 'dress up' appropriately :-/ Eh !
I for sure feel I am not the right person who understands style or fashion or any such 'girly' stuff at all. :P
What a task it becomes to decide what to wear, how to carry it, accessories to go by it - just so that you can look presentable - Really?!?!

I so wish if there comes a day where I get to decide what to wear on my wedding and I can just walk up to the podium as if I am just back from a trek / adventure activity ;)
You never know if I literally may land  up doing that ! :P Am sure when my mother heard this - She almost fainted ;)

How I wish I had a stylist who decides all such mundane things for me :P

I was welcomed to check out awesome wardrobes, amazing food to hog on, lovely ambiance, catching up with all the cousins and their families and so many other bright things that make a wedding look GRAND !! :)

My mother as usual like socializing a lot and so she did her 'job' ;)

Honnavar :)

Reason to Smile: The lush green views, the rice and wheat plantations, the foggy mountains, the wet silver curvy roads and we 3 girls on a road trip. It all begins with this thought and check where we land up :) Honnavar - One small city in Karnataka, very close to Kumta, Gokarna, Murudeshwara Temple and many more such popular places. We headed straight to Madhu's native where her uncle lived. Her Mamaji, as we all affectionately called him, greeted us and was very strict about maintaining the schedule of our trip, for he was our official guide to take us to umpteen places around for sight seeing. Kugaon Fort + Palasdeo Temple :)

Reason to Smile: The movie made its roar in the Marathi film industry with all new faces as very sensitive and challenging characters as their debut. I have only heard about the movie and its feel shot at the backdrop of scenic adventure beautified by Kugav Fort near Solapur. I had seen them too in some of their promos on TV. While it looked exuberantly vibrant and beautiful, it was time to see whether it gives the same impact in real lights too ;) So without a doubt, there are number of nature lovers like me who had the same thought running on their minds. Ironically the place becomes just more popular only because its got highlighted in some movie. Or else Kugaon Fort was always there - just that it got visible to the public eye after 56 years of its existence !! Because all this while it was submerged under the crystal clear waters of River Bhima of Kugaon Village. It has significantly no traces of its charm on the web. So, it was surely not google this time to locate the place....
