Kandivali Lakeside :)


Reason to Smile: It is so good to 'see' the real happiness in someone rather than reading those happiness quotes and admiring them. Yes, For me it is important to feel it and share it than just quote it :)

Sharing it is an altogether different excitement one feels while doing it so. One such friend I met during the weekend and I could see his excitement of the investment he has made in his life. He bought a house for himself after a long struggle. Indeed, no big deal these days. But for him it meant everything and I could feel it in his gesture, his voice, his body language, the way he showed me around, it said it all. To own a house in a city like Mumbai is a dream for many. I always find such people lucky who are able to gather guts and enjoy the investment in this lifetime :)

Yes, he bought a flat at Kandivali and while he took me around his area, he told me he has figured out some lakeside place which in monsoons seems very pretty. We surely thought we should just check that out. And Wow, it was indeed very beautiful. We surely landed up at a place which was utmost serene and peaceful. To top it all, it even rained ! :) The local kids immediately jumped on to enjoy the lake water and they all were having great fun. The best about them is they were busy enjoying literally - not taking selfies  :P ;) Apparently it was me though who got busy clicking the place I thought I could not have found anywhere in Mumbai :) All Thanks to Vipul who introduced me to whole new world of excitement in him :P

From that moment, I realized that "Happiness can also be.......... A Meaningful Investment" !! :)

Honnavar :)

Reason to Smile: The lush green views, the rice and wheat plantations, the foggy mountains, the wet silver curvy roads and we 3 girls on a road trip. It all begins with this thought and check where we land up :) Honnavar - One small city in Karnataka, very close to Kumta, Gokarna, Murudeshwara Temple and many more such popular places. We headed straight to Madhu's native where her uncle lived. Her Mamaji, as we all affectionately called him, greeted us and was very strict about maintaining the schedule of our trip, for he was our official guide to take us to umpteen places around for sight seeing. Kugaon Fort + Palasdeo Temple :)

Reason to Smile: The movie made its roar in the Marathi film industry with all new faces as very sensitive and challenging characters as their debut. I have only heard about the movie and its feel shot at the backdrop of scenic adventure beautified by Kugav Fort near Solapur. I had seen them too in some of their promos on TV. While it looked exuberantly vibrant and beautiful, it was time to see whether it gives the same impact in real lights too ;) So without a doubt, there are number of nature lovers like me who had the same thought running on their minds. Ironically the place becomes just more popular only because its got highlighted in some movie. Or else Kugaon Fort was always there - just that it got visible to the public eye after 56 years of its existence !! Because all this while it was submerged under the crystal clear waters of River Bhima of Kugaon Village. It has significantly no traces of its charm on the web. So, it was surely not google this time to locate the place....
