Matheran :)
Reason to Smile: Movie - the Independence Day Resurgence - much like a science fiction movie that it is, I felt it was long and too many characters only made it fun if a child within you find its exciting to see those weird strategies they try to make to kill the Queen ;)
And then.. Imagine a facebook post reading "enjoying at Matheran" feeling wet :P Thats what we heard from some boys who joked about it at Charlotte Lake, Matheran ;)
The Rains, The fog, The fog or the foggy rains - it was all just that at Matheran :P
Poonam, Me, Richa and Rashmi stepped out on a sunday morning to explore the rains at Matheran. For me it must have been the 18th trip there :p So the official guide that I was to the others, I was also the Lady Big Boss of the gang :P The Sethani as they called me, the rest were named Naukranis :P who were only allowed to follow me - literally :P ;) (They were new to the place)
A few of the funniest comments that we must have made and enjoyed during the trip are as follows:
- This goes for Rashmi who has the longest of the hairs (they just don't seem to end) and the good looking of the lot (almost our Sunny Leone) was the Leela of the gang. So Poonam and Richa being so awed by her beauty, almost being possessive about it, could not tolerate any passer by looking at Rashmi. Hence if that happened, they used the term (ofcourse with great Khunnas) - "Leela Hamari Hai" :P
- Lunch time: We were disappointed that it wasn't raining much but was extremely foggy. The weather was cold and hence a warm soup would only make it awesome. While the vegetarains wanted to have Manchow soup and the non veg wanted to have Chicken soup, Richa took the lead to order. What she says is hilarious - "Bhaiya one Manchow soup 2 by 2 and one chicken soup 2 by 2" LOL ! Now that's the height of being a Mumbaikar when all that she meant was a so called one by two soup :P ;) :D
- The discussion on the table doesn't usually end before we discuss what all we face as experiences on facebook :P So this time, it was Poonam for some gyaan and what she gave in was - "You can block anyone on facebook. I blocked my Dad" LOL :D This sounded as if some stand up comic said it at the right time ! The timing was just perfect for a hearty laugh ;)
The entire time we had so much to laugh on, that the only thing we missed out was literally ROFL (Rolling on the floor laughing) in its actual sense :P
We first explore Garbett Point and on our return we met some TMI guys - We just halted only to catch up with Nishank. A few words and a selfie, we started off for Echo point and Charlotte Lake. Apparently we were warned by him to be careful of the snakes he spotted but we didnt :P But yes by the time we finished our lunch it was all raining cats and dogs for us to regret not tasting Maggie :P
Echo point as the name suggests is a place where you shout and wait for the echo to return. With Richa's shout attempt, we really did not have the sound return but yes some fellow folks surely ran away from the area :P We then checked out Charlotte Lake that also only had fogs and pours to our display. We still had an hour to then take the train back to Mumbai so we moved.
The market place offered us Maggie and some nice tea for a breather because that's when we were getting to feel our knees and legs telling us to take a break :P
While Richa specialized in the jumping around, the two calm women - Me and Rashmi were busy shooting her madness. Poonam was the one background music to us - her laughter is no less than music to our ears ;)
Sonali - We missed you, Next time please hire a private cab to the nearest railway station so that you can board the train and you don't miss the fun with us :P
So you see, it is just awesome madness at Matheran which looks extremely beautiful with some waterfalls as scenic views, fogs and rains to enjoy and a few wild but crazy people as your guiding company :)
Some pics on FB :) Keep Smiling :)
