Bhandardhara - HBD Tattva :)

Reason to Smile: They say that our 'firsts' in life are always very special. Just as our first day at school / college, our first pay check, our first crush, first love, first kiss, etc.

This weekend was a celebration of one such idea. An idea, two enthusiasts (Jaal and Sai) had thought of, a year back. They started Tattva Adventures - an idea that can bring and spread smiles :) A group that focuses on fun, knowledge, encourages talent, more than willing to accept suggestions and welcomes them with open arms. Happy Birthday Tattva Adventures ! :)

An overnight bus ride to Samrad village with unlimited games like Dumsherads, Antakshari, Mash-up, Wishes, got us so charged up that today I have literally lost my voice ;) :P Towards the morning we lost one route towards the base village (due to immense fog) and had to take a halt. One step outside, and it is so chilling that you cant do without our windcheaters :P And to top it all, we are in for a surprise with a huge speaker and music. Its a 5 AM party and the feet got to work !

We reached the village early morning, and after some relaxed clicked here and there gathered for the introductions. All 46 of us while introducing told 'their story' of the adventures and the feelings they have shared with Tattva as a special gift to them. The story of Tattva is no less exciting. Two people think of an idea to make friends meet, have fun, spread happiness, discover their passion and dreams and today, one year down the line, it becomes a grand success ! Indeed the best story award goes to Tattva Adventures ! :)
The last time we had been to the reverse waterfall site, we could barely see the impact. This time, it was so heavy on rains and fog that we could barely see ourselves due to the impact :P The short descend down the valley to just be mesmerized by its beauty and the waterfalls is breathtaking. 
The fog, wind, greenery, and the rains get so huggable that you don't feel like leaving them at all. One more trip for the sheer romance with them is a must :) 

The surprises haven't ended here yet. While returning back, a game of housie can win us all 10 gifts and cash prizes too! ;) Infact, A full housie won by Shree got his entire trip FREE ! Am sure he is still dancing :P Well, got lucky with my first line too ;) :P

Who knew that an HR conference on Friday would not get me as excited as much as a Sunday Tattva event would - I hope I recover soon ;)

Honnavar :)

Reason to Smile: The lush green views, the rice and wheat plantations, the foggy mountains, the wet silver curvy roads and we 3 girls on a road trip. It all begins with this thought and check where we land up :) Honnavar - One small city in Karnataka, very close to Kumta, Gokarna, Murudeshwara Temple and many more such popular places. We headed straight to Madhu's native where her uncle lived. Her Mamaji, as we all affectionately called him, greeted us and was very strict about maintaining the schedule of our trip, for he was our official guide to take us to umpteen places around for sight seeing. Kugaon Fort + Palasdeo Temple :)

Reason to Smile: The movie made its roar in the Marathi film industry with all new faces as very sensitive and challenging characters as their debut. I have only heard about the movie and its feel shot at the backdrop of scenic adventure beautified by Kugav Fort near Solapur. I had seen them too in some of their promos on TV. While it looked exuberantly vibrant and beautiful, it was time to see whether it gives the same impact in real lights too ;) So without a doubt, there are number of nature lovers like me who had the same thought running on their minds. Ironically the place becomes just more popular only because its got highlighted in some movie. Or else Kugaon Fort was always there - just that it got visible to the public eye after 56 years of its existence !! Because all this while it was submerged under the crystal clear waters of River Bhima of Kugaon Village. It has significantly no traces of its charm on the web. So, it was surely not google this time to locate the place....
