Camping at Malshej :)

Reason to Smile: With all the places that I have been to, Malshej Ghats has been one of the most popular one in my list :) I have always enjoyed the curvaceous roads, the scenic beauty that it offers and the chilling climate especially on an unplanned road trip !

Not that this was not planned, but it failed before we took off.. But then again Ritu rose up to this plan and convinced all that we should just pack our bags and leave :P Who would say 'no' from the gang who are always waiting for such plans :P So as usual - up and running we are - Ritu, Jeanette, Mehul, Thomas, Rohan, Rajjo and me.

Though it was an impromptu plan, we really did not have to worry much. Ritu managed the accessories for food, Thomas and Rajjo managed the tents, Mehul managed the sleeping bag, Needless to mention Rohan managed some food :P and Me and Jeanette just managed to reach on time :P  And then we hit the roads to Malshej !! The ride begins.. !! :D

We started at about 4 pm and were just thinking we should have at least reached the camping site before dark so that we can easily ground the tent. LOL it became and how ! We reached the camping site that Rajjo had finalised but then Thomas by then had already booked our dinner and camp with someone known to him. So we parked our Guns (vehicles) in the middle of the ghat and started thinking - Left or Right? As they say the right is always right ;) So we loaded the guns and drove to the family known to Thomas. The dinner was getting prepared so we got ready for starters :P
Jeanette with her all new DSLR got charged to learn all that she can about photography from our very own famous photographers - Rajjo and Ritu :P At that time, the only person left to experiment all the clicks was me :P I felt like a super model with just 2 cameras flashing only on me :P Crazy fans I say ;) :D By the time we were done with all this and the delicious dinner served by the family, it was already 11 pm :P

On second thoughts we had already dreamt of sleeping at their house but then we picked up our bags and walked down the campsite. FINALLY ! There we were grounding the tents, making the camp fire, enjoying the chills, and feeling hungry all over again !! :D Courtesy - Rohan - We lit up the stove, prepared some hot and sour soup and felt it looked incomplete :P So guess what? we added maggie noodles to the soup that was being cooked still !! Apparently it was Rohan's idea and after it all got prepared he didnt have it all ! Arrggghhhh... it had taken us 30 mins to growl :P

We all gazed some stars on the clear sky, sang songs, and slept with our blankets to the shivers that didnt let the girls sleep :P Rohan was amazing with his snoring music and Thomas and Mehul nicely cozed up in their sleeping bags.. Good night it was at about 3 pm :P

The cooking expert that I became after that soupie maggie preparation which looked like chocolate noodles in the morning; we cooked maggie and made sandwiches for breakfast just to ensure we also hogged something edible at our camping site :P

While returning back, Rajjo suggested we go to the campsite he had reserved for us just to upload some pics from there. We went there and Mehul became the model this time with his bike :P Some really unusual pictures near the lakeside and we took off to return to the city life :)

All pics on FB :P Do check it out and Keep Smiling :)
