Words are surely not enough for the place I visited over the weekend. I have been to many monsoon treks and recuperated capturing several waterfalls pictures in Sahyadris. But what I often miss is being completely drenched by them. I love bathing and taking those huge bumps of falls hitting hard on my head, back and shoulders! It is an unbelievable feeling to be there. It is not just a feeling of some massage on your body but for me its a mind set out totally free and completely void of inhibitions!
Yes, we found one such waterfall this time. All thanks to my dear friends Rajjo and Sandy who just got enough bored to set out for an outing that did not just got us stress free but also ensured that it sets us apart from the places most people choose for an outing :)

We honestly did not know or plan anything. We just knew one thing. We are boarding an early morning Karjat local train, will alight at Neral and figure out at the station platform where we could go ! :P 3 of us followed everything told to each other and that led us to just another weekend of exploration! We started to walk around a small jungle that moves up to Matheran. About an hour later, we reached some village. I call it "Happiness Village" Just about 4 Kms walk in the jungle and the route clearly laid out where some locals were heading, we see a huge river flowing. The stream was super clean and white like snow. While we tried taking some rest we wondered if there was some waterfall nearby. We could very clearly and loudly hear the sound of gushing waters and began to move towards the waves of the sound. And as expected indeed, there was a huge waterfall, that looked as wonderful as the milky falls or pretty much like a snowfall, amidst the dense deep green jungle, right below the mystic mountains of Matheran !
Needless to mention we spent a lot of time there clicking endless pictures and getting an overwhelming massage from falls that hit us right on our heads, tapping to confirm our presence of mind ;) :P

Since there was absolutely no place to get us changed from the wet clothes, we straight headed to the very kind and very simple person's home at Neral. Ankita invited us for lunch and all hungry that we were, literally hogged to the sumptuous meal her mother had cooked for us. BTW, she resides very close to Neral station and has an amazing bungalow to our rescue ! The terraces are placed to give us a feeling of 'up and above the world so high' for regular and the so called insane parties too ;)
Now that's how we live and love the Nomadic life ! :)
All pictures are being uploaded on FB. Take a look and Keep Smiling :)
