My Endless Birthday Party :)

Reason to Smile: I was chatting with one of my colony friend and he commented on my health and fitness :P He obviously meant I should join some fitness center to control my weight :P While I could not agree any lesser, I gave him an idea of what I am blessed with and HOW ;)

I told him one thing – My birthday was on friday. And I was literally on a birthday vacation till today !! :P He got the idea but insisted I give him details ;)

I had some special lunch from home (thankfully) which I could digest at work :P Met Disha who could not go back home without personally wishing me and eating the pastries of my birthday – Worli Sea Face ;) And then Dinner at Pop Tates, Mulund with friends who made it to my place at 12 Mid night to celebrate !! For the first time in my life, I have enjoyed my birthday starting 12 AM. It may sound kiddish but I have always wished I get mid night surprises ;) And so it just began… followed by a night out !! After a dinner filled with Sizzlers, Thai Curry & Rice, Some Pastas, Lasane, and Drinks, we could not close the day just then. A night out from Mulund – Ghatkopar – Thane and back home, it was a jolly good ride ! ;) My special thanks to Prasad, Monish, Mayuri, Avinash, Yoshita, Chinmay – who made it so wonderful :)

And what next? The party is still on.. A Lunch with family on Saturday at Leela’s and then Sunday evening with friends at Metro Pizza; I feel time has just stopped on my birthday !! :) My second ‘first time’ exposure was also to eat a ‘Meter’ long Pizza !! ;)

Reason to Smile : The joblessness no matter how critical it may seem doesn't affect my travel life. There is nothing more that I can love about that. This time I got another chance to visit Goa. Honnavar :)

Reason to Smile: The lush green views, the rice and wheat plantations, the foggy mountains, the wet silver curvy roads and we 3 girls on a road trip. It all begins with this thought and check where we land up :) Honnavar - One small city in Karnataka, very close to Kumta, Gokarna, Murudeshwara Temple and many more such popular places. We headed straight to Madhu's native where her uncle lived. Her Mamaji, as we all affectionately called him, greeted us and was very strict about maintaining the schedule of our trip, for he was our official guide to take us to umpteen places around for sight seeing. Kugaon Fort + Palasdeo Temple :)

Reason to Smile: The movie made its roar in the Marathi film industry with all new faces as very sensitive and challenging characters as their debut. I have only heard about the movie and its feel shot at the backdrop of scenic adventure beautified by Kugav Fort near Solapur. I had seen them too in some of their promos on TV. While it looked exuberantly vibrant and beautiful, it was time to see whether it gives the same impact in real lights too ;) So without a doubt, there are number of nature lovers like me who had the same thought running on their minds. Ironically the place becomes just more popular only because its got highlighted in some movie. Or else Kugaon Fort was always there - just that it got visible to the public eye after 56 years of its existence !! Because all this while it was submerged under the crystal clear waters of River Bhima of Kugaon Village. It has significantly no traces of its charm on the web. So, it was surely not google this time to locate the place....
