'Watch' Out :)


Reason to Smile: Its a weekend time and one has to understand that not all plans succeed. I was about to join a trek and I had to cancel for another reason to smile ;)

My cousin was getting engaged and the family function sometimes takes priority over such treks :P

I love it when I have to take out 'time' to buy or work on 'time'. Dint get it? I have always been a 'watch' lover (wrist watch I mean ofcourse) and for me its not just any. It has to be BIG ;) Yeah, I like the big dial watches that can look pretty attractive when you wear it and show off ! ;) Nah, I don't buy anything for show off though :P. I just like it that way.
So, it was time I watch out on all the watches that weren't really functioning. They say its not good if a watch stops functioning. Its not good if your time doesn't work. Surely, it was it was high time I paid attention to the time that wasn't running at all. Time had stopped. Literally.
In short, I took all my watches to a watch showroom where repairing services are provided too!

What can happen when the service is about to take 10 mins for all the watches and I have to wait till it gets repaired :P I land up buying a beautiful so called 'manly' wrist watch ! It cant get better than a feeling of realizing I already have more than 7 watches already ! LOL :D

So, I have enough 'time' with me now ;)

Yes, Enough time to meet a long lost friend to have a bite on the sizzling brownie ;) It was indeed a happy sunday !

Honnavar :)

Reason to Smile: The lush green views, the rice and wheat plantations, the foggy mountains, the wet silver curvy roads and we 3 girls on a road trip. It all begins with this thought and check where we land up :) Honnavar - One small city in Karnataka, very close to Kumta, Gokarna, Murudeshwara Temple and many more such popular places. We headed straight to Madhu's native where her uncle lived. Her Mamaji, as we all affectionately called him, greeted us and was very strict about maintaining the schedule of our trip, for he was our official guide to take us to umpteen places around for sight seeing. Reason to Smile: The movie made its roar in the Marathi film industry with all new faces as very sensitive and challenging characters as their debut. I have only heard about the movie and its feel shot at the backdrop of scenic adventure beautified by Kugav Fort near Solapur. I had seen them too in some of their promos on TV. While it looked exuberantly vibrant and beautiful, it was time to see whether it gives the same impact in real lights too ;) So without a doubt, there are number of nature lovers like me who had the same thought running on their minds. Ironically the place becomes just more popular only because its got highlighted in some movie. Or else Kugaon Fort was always there - just that it got visible to the public eye after 56 years of its existence !! Because all this while it was submerged under the crystal clear waters of River Bhima of Kugaon Village. It has significantly no traces of its charm on the web. So, it was surely not google this time to locate the place....
