Time Pass 2 :)


Reason to Smile: After all the hangover that the Konkan-Malvan trip has bogged me with, it was mummy special this time :)
To celebrate a woman with all the courage she has, all the knowledge she wants to put on test, all the energy she wants to give - only to her family; its time we make our mothers feel special. Not that we did something great, but its amazing how blessed my mom feels even if we just take her out on a lavish lunch somewhere around suburbs :) Indeed, only mothers have it in them. 
So an Ala grand lunch at Oriental Residency made her day and moving on a movie show made mine. A treat to watch Time Pass 2 is surely a must watch. Timepass  was a 2014 Marathi film. A story about teenage love set up in 90's between Dagadu and Prajakta. Their love is forced to part ways because of the social status Prajakta's family is curtailed with. They shift to Konkan leaving Dagadu alone with his love in his heart. :) Time Pass 2 is an extension of the movie with Dagadu and Prajakta still trying to figure out whether all the time they spent together as teenagers was 'true love' or just 'time pass' :) With excellent dialogues and subtle humor, the actors have made brilliant performances. Some songs are melodious and the presentation has not at all disappointed with its super success of  the earlier sequel Time pass. However while the movie has broken all the box office records in the marathi cinema, I felt the second half was a bit stretched and boring with more melo-drama needless for the message they want to convey.  

Overall a sweet weekend :) Keep Smiling :)

Reason to Smile : The joblessness no matter how critical it may seem doesn't affect my travel life. There is nothing more that I can love about that. This time I got another chance to visit Goa. Honnavar :)

Reason to Smile: The lush green views, the rice and wheat plantations, the foggy mountains, the wet silver curvy roads and we 3 girls on a road trip. It all begins with this thought and check where we land up :) Honnavar - One small city in Karnataka, very close to Kumta, Gokarna, Murudeshwara Temple and many more such popular places. We headed straight to Madhu's native where her uncle lived. Her Mamaji, as we all affectionately called him, greeted us and was very strict about maintaining the schedule of our trip, for he was our official guide to take us to umpteen places around for sight seeing. Kugaon Fort + Palasdeo Temple :)

Reason to Smile: The movie made its roar in the Marathi film industry with all new faces as very sensitive and challenging characters as their debut. I have only heard about the movie and its feel shot at the backdrop of scenic adventure beautified by Kugav Fort near Solapur. I had seen them too in some of their promos on TV. While it looked exuberantly vibrant and beautiful, it was time to see whether it gives the same impact in real lights too ;) So without a doubt, there are number of nature lovers like me who had the same thought running on their minds. Ironically the place becomes just more popular only because its got highlighted in some movie. Or else Kugaon Fort was always there - just that it got visible to the public eye after 56 years of its existence !! Because all this while it was submerged under the crystal clear waters of River Bhima of Kugaon Village. It has significantly no traces of its charm on the web. So, it was surely not google this time to locate the place....
