Reason to Smile: It is movie time for me - Badlapur and Dum Laga Ke Haisha I heard were movies good enough to take a glance. I picked up Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Anirban was willing to join me for the movie and we headed for an evening show on Sunday. The movie revolves around a guy, Prem - who owns a cassette shop in Haridwar. The film is based in the set up of 1995 era where CDs and DVDs were very new. Uneducated, struggling to look for self respect among friends and family; incapable of running his shop, he is forced to get married to an educated but an over weight girl - Sandhya. He clearly shows his disinterest in the marriage visible to all. A skinny lame guy who has no idea what to do in life i now thrown into a relationship assuming the wife will smooth-en things. Reason to Smile : What can be better or best than a 3 day long weekend for anyone ! Holi inspires us to be colourful, eventful and energetic all the year round. Lots of colours, lots of fun, lots of food, sweets with family and friends - thats what Holi is all about and yes it was the same for me too over the long weekend :) A wonderful stay at Courtyard Marriott with family made this weekend happening for all of us at home. Ala Grand Food; Swimming ; Gym ; an over spacious suite to ourselves; we just couldn't get enough of the property :P The Holi special diet got us all over eating for that day. Reason to Smile: Some of us decided to 'catch the flavor' with the food festival that was aired as an event this weekend in Mumbai. Nehru Center was the venue. Aditya and Pooja reached there early to see if it was even worth it. Me and Payal were about to get excited for the fest that we were informed by our 'investigators' that we better not waste any time there and move out to enjoy the weekend at some better place ;) So that's how it all began. I was invited by Intercontinental, The Lalit through my sister for a gala lunch buffet and right from chinese to lebanese, pasta, pizza, indian, mexican, italian, thai, continental, salads, rice, gujarati food, ice creams, kulfi, cakes, chocolates moose, we have had it all during the weekend .. Phew ! :) If there was anything left out on my mind, we went to Metro Pizza for a fine dine after the disappointment at the food fest ! ;) We hogged over a meter long pizza with all choices of veg pizzas on the platter litera...

Reason to Smile:  Your truth is in your mind, anything you believe in creates your reality.  Focus on what you love instead of what you dislike and you’ll end up finding more joy and more love in life.  Even though you cannot control everything that happens, you can control your attitude toward what happens. And in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you. Happy Valentines Day ! :) A wonderful time spent with family on the V day at Courtyard Marriott says it all. Its not the just the people who think you love are your valentines. Reason to Smile:  The Kala Ghoda Art Fest 2015 is in town and there comes by the plans for all those who wish to spend the weekend outside for something new :) The schedule is always displayed online for all the so called 'Art lovers' and those who wish to check out whats in store for them this year :) Right from plays, to music concerts, to theatre, drama, stand up comedy, the art displays by various groups, institutions, colleges, etc; the KGAF has it all. It indeed targets almost all sections of the society in its own charming way with all such events lined up for 9 days in one go ! Reason to Smile: I cant have a better start of the weekend the moment I know its Kobe Sizzler time for me ! ;) Lunch at Kobe sizzlers with garlic bread and sizzling brownie to go with, one cant think of any better start to the weekend time with family and friends :) Prasad, Mayuri and me met in the evening to catch up on the lost time together. Reason to Smile: The first long weekend of 2015 and people have their plans. Treks, tours, camping, shopping, some dining outlets to check out and what not ! ;) I am glad I didn't opt for any for a change :P I, instead went out for a lavish lunch with family at Oriental Residency, Khar. By the time I had just finished hogging, I was called to welcome my very dear friend from Singapore !
